NEW ADHD GROUPS LAUNCHING
I’m excited to expand on the ADHD group work pioneered by psychologist Janelle Booker, recently featured on The Imperfects podcast discussing "Life with ADHD."
I will be partnering with Janelle to co-facilitate her next online group, and will also be offering an in-person group for people locally.
If you’d like to hear Janelle’s compassionate and insightful take on ADHD, you can listen to the podcast here is the link.
ABOUT THE GROUP PROGRAM
You don’t need a formal diagnosis to join.
Many people with ADHD—diagnosed or not—struggle with focus, overwhelm, executive dysfunction, and emotional regulation. If that sounds familiar, you’re welcome here.
These group sessions are designed to provide:
✔️ Support from people who get it
✔️ A sense of belonging and connection
✔️ Connected discussion and guidance on the unique ADHD experience.
What’s involved?
The group is really focused on bringing together people with similar minds who want to connect and learn from each other.
Each session combines education, reflection, and conversation. You can expect to navigate topics such as:
-
Making sense of the diagnosis
-
Letting go of pleasing and appeasing others at the expense of ourselves
-
Masking and how to unmask if you choose
Research shows that group therapy can boost confidence & self-awareness, help restore your appreciation for you unique qualities, help develop emotional regulation skills, and address executive functioning—especially when paired with shared lived experience.
If you have been struggling and finding you face some "blocks" with your experience, it is likely that you will benefit from these group sessions.
INVESTMENT/DATES/TIMES:
-
Online group sessions to start in July, likely on a Tuesday evening.
-
In-person groups will run in the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie area, starting in July/August.
-
Sessions run for 1.5 each week for 8 weeks
-
Cost: $110 per session ($880 total)

ABOUT RACHAEL (Group Facilitator):
Hi, I’m Rachael, your ADHD & HSP (Highly Sensitive Person) advocate, and lover of real, honest conversations.
At home in Newcastle, I share life with my husband, our three teenage boys, and two (very opinionated) schnauzers. Our family includes a beautiful mix of neurodiverse and neurotypical minds, so I know firsthand how complex, tender, and hilarious this journey can be.
With over 20 years of experience as a psychologist, I’ve helped people navigate trauma, rebuild relationships, and reconnect with their inner sense of strength and identity.
I bring a blend of compassion, creativity, and evidence-based strategies to every session—along with humour and humanity.
If you're ready to feel more supported, more understood, and more empowered in your ADHD journey, I’d love to have you in the group.
